Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Business Analyst to join our e-commerce services team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business goals and technical implementation. You will be responsible for analyzing business needs, optimizing digital customer journeys, and supporting data-driven decision-making to enhance user experience and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements. Translate customer and market needs into detailed functional specifications. Customer Journey & Experience Optimization: Analyze the end-to-end digital shopping experience to identify pain points and areas of improvement. Work with UX/UI teams to enhance usability and customer satisfaction. Utilize analytics tools to interpret e-commerce metrics such as conversion rates, cart abandonment, and customer lifetime value. Generate actionable insights and dashboards to guide product and marketing strategy. Map and optimize business processes such as order fulfillment, returns, and customer support. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency. Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure requirements are implemented accurately and efficiently. Support system integration projects involving payment gateways, inventory systems, CRMs, or third-party platforms. Market and Competitor Research: Monitor trends and analyze competitor strategies to inform e-commerce innovations and enhancements. Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate that implemented solutions meet business requirements. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field. 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the e-commerce or digital services space. Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to analyze large datasets and translate them into clear business recommendations. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Trello. Preferred Skills:
Experience with A/B testing and personalization strategies. Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, and omni-channel commerce. Familiarity with customer experience (CX) and design thinking principles.
